JERRY MORELLO - An Autumnal Bear

JERRY MORELLO is one of my BIG traditional old-styled bears with a centre seam head design, hump back, long tapered arms and drumstick legs.

Standing at 24 inches tall, he has been created from
hand-dyed plum/black, long pile, distressed vintage velvet which has an art silk feel to it.

His head limbs and body are stuffed entirely with woodwool and I have placed some polyfibre in his black suedette paw and foot pads for a softer feel in those areas.

Jerry’s eyes are black glass and I have backed them with
brick-red felt discs to help them stand out against his fur.

His nose and mouth are embroidered in black DMC perle thread and finished with a glossy sheen.
